Mental Health Treatments Available Soon

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) uses magnetic fields to stimulate nerve cells in the brain, to improve symptoms of depression. It is non-invasive, and involves delivering repetitive magnetic pulses, to the region of the brain involved in mood control. TMS is usually offered when other depression treatments have not been effective. The latest data shows it has a 70% success rate for treating treatment-resistant depression.

Therapeutic Ketamine Treaments

We are currently researching the feasibility of offering therapeutic ketamine treatments through Frontiers of Hope.

Future Treatment Goals

At Frontiers of Hope, we are constantly researching new, innovative treatments that will be more cost effective, less invasive and more successful than treatments currently available in New Zealand. We want to expand our services for brain injuries, perinatal or postnatal depression, for both men and women, and also offer services for the Deaf community.

Please contact us if you can help expand our services to support more people with complex mental health challenges.
